Social Life
The club launches the season with an American tournament in April. The tournaments are excellent social occasions, with everyone mixing in and, of course, a good tea afterwards.
Also during the summer, one of the Friday evening club sessions may befollowed by a barbecue in and around the pavilion.
We usually have a tennis related game stall at the Pangbourne fete in June. This raises a modest amount, either for village causes, or club funds, but is mainly an opportunity to promote the club.
We also stay after tennis one Sunday to cut the hedges, which is very hard work, but also sociable and gives great satisfaction in a job well done. This is the 2007 team.
The Ladies team usually have a social night at a local restaurant which is always good fun.
