American Tournament
The opening of the season tournament will be on Sunday 22nd April, 2pm at the club, followed by afternoon tea, so please come along and bring something for the tea. As usual the tournament is open to non-members, so if you know other players who would be interested please bring them along.
Wimbledon Tickets
If you wish to be in the draw for Wimbledon tickets you need to ensure you have paid your membership by 22nd April at the latest.
Club Play
Sunday club play will be reverting to Sunday mornings for the summer again, from the Sunday after the American tournament, Sunday 29th April. The start time will be 10.30 every Sunday morning.
Friday evening club will begin the week immediately prior to the American tournament, i.e. 20th April, starting at 18.30.
Juniors
Jennifer & Suzanne have run very popular programmes of activities for the juniors over the past 2 years, and are planning to build on this success again this summer. We have lots of new, fun tennis equipment and excellent coaching, so if you know any children who’d like to learn to play or improve their tennis, please contact us.
Rota
The scheme of having a named individual responsible for ensuring a minimum of 4 players present at every club session continues to be successful. The latest rota will be sent to you shortly and will also be displayed on the website. Please put a note in your diary of your turn for the rota and make sure you do organise at least 4 players. It’s very little effort and is well worth it! If you can’t do your appointed day please arrange to swap with someone else.
